During the winter months of 2017 we worked with primary schools and Mind (the mental health organisation) in Minehead to create stop frame animations inspired by the ancient Somerset tradition of Wassailing. Participants created 2D puppets, using card and split pins, that referenced: apple trees, orchards, good spirits and evil spirits. They placed their puppets onto a green screen and started the slow process of photographing their puppets in motion, frame by frame. In January 2018 we projected the sequences at three Wassails.

Well done to children from: Parkfield school, Thurlbear school, Trull school and Churchstanton school and adults from the Mind art group, you all did an amazing job!
